S4D3: Practical Information for Session Organizers at the Cohorts, Civil Society and Youth Day
The third Summit for Democracy (S4D3) is taking place on 18 to 20 March 2024 in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. The theme will be ‘Democracy for Future Generations’. The three-day Summit will feature a range of activities, including a Cohorts, Civil Society and Youth Day that is taking place on on 19 March 2024 in the COEX Center, Seoul.
The Cohorts, Civil Society and Youth Day activities are a central part of the Summit during which S4D cohorts, civil society and youth organizations will highlight their work in shaping democracy fit for future generations in diverse sessions and exhibition booths. The Platform for Engagement with Civil Society (PEC) organizations, including International IDEA, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Open Government Partnership (OGP), and the Community of Democracies (CoD), are supporting the government of the Republic of Korea to organize the Cohorts, Civil Society and Youth Day.

Please note of the session guidelines including guide and submission deadline of all presentation materials. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs can provide assistance on testing presentation materials (audio files, videos etc) if these are submitted on or before 13 March 2024 at 9:00am KST. Exhibition Booth
Find below information on the organization of a exhibition booth on the Cohorts, Civil Society and Youth Day. Organizers should coordinate directly with the COEX Operations Team indicated in the guidelines. Please refer to the document 'Further Information for Exhibition Booth Organizers' to see the booth assignments as well as the dates for exhibitor's move-in time.

Visa Application
The deadline to apply for visas has passed . Please refer to information by the Republic of Korea on visa-free entry to Korea.

Find below information that aim to facilitate the search for a hotel near the COEX Center in Seoul, where the Cohorts, Civil Society and Youth Day is taking place. The reservation form in the Annexes should be submitted directly to the hotels before 6 March 2024. Special rates have been consulted with the hotels of Annex A to C.
