Virtual Civil Society Organizations Kickoff Call for the Summit for Democracy

The event consisted of a formal call by the US Government on 15 September 2021 for civil society input to the Summit. The event discussed a shared vision for meaningful civic engagement and gave organisations the opportunity for a Q&A. Speakers clarified priorities for the administration and Summit and provided updates on the format, timing and agenda of the Summit, as well as next steps.
