Days of Action – Tech for Democracy

Between 8 and 12 November, Global Focus, an association of Danish non-governmental organisations, arranged 47 sessions to illuminate the role of civil society in making tech work in a democratic and human rights-centric manner. Civil society from all corners of the world gathered across the five days to provide inputs to the Summit, helping to turn talk into concrete action and ensure that solutions are tailored to actual realities in different communities. Three international advisory groups and a working group were also formed, which will assist in transforming the problems and solutions that result from the discussions into tangible policy recommendations and concrete actions.

The discussions contributed to producing a global document consolidating the findings from the Days of Action and civil society consultations, setting a clear path for action.
